Samuel Sarette: This is one of my favorite mini games, ever. However, it really needs to be played with hardware buttons, believe me. Go buy one of those snap-on controllers to play it with.

Carlos Rodriguez: I adore this mini game a lot! I'm so amazed how some of the flaws of this mini game are so overweighed by the real charm of it, like the soundtrack for one and the nostalgia of Link's Awakening mixed into it. Now, if you can bear dealing with the controls (which are a pain at times, because of the tricky jumps you'll have to accomplish at certain times), you will search the mini game very enjoyable and one to immerse yourself with.

Patrick Malanoski: the video test and style, as already noted, are obviously reminiscent of the mother and zelda series. but that's not to say it's simply borrowing from either- it has an inexplicable understated, ambient feel to it. it provides a highly engrossing experience, though there are times when you might struggle to figure out what to do, or how to manage THAT ONE INSANE JUMP IN THE FINAL STAGE GAHHHHH so it might be less suited to people who would only receive something out of it after finishing it entirely

Matt Christianson: Having finished the mini game, this is one of the most inventive mini games i have ever played. the controls are a tiny wonky, but it works fine if you rearrange the buttons so the x is on the another side.

Ace B: A awesome mix of exploration, puzzle and an good sound track. developer is awesome at supporting apk, only thing I would like to recommend is that the developer makes it zeemote compatible. The remote would work really well with this

j l: Buy this Mini game. Seriously. But maybe on Xbox, PC or PS. I'm reading the smartphone controls suck but haven't tried for myself yet. Bought this on PC 5 years ago and it was good. I am repurchasing on Android device and Xbox marketplace to help the making of Anodyne 2! It's 3D! Update:Just played 5 minutes. Controls do suck. Manageable but takes away from the experience for sure if you're not patient.

Christopher Night: It took me 7 hours to beat. Well designed dungeons and awesome difficulty curve. Although the video test is satisfyingly nonlinear with awesome dozens, there is very tiny in the method of optional side quests (you must receive 36 of 37 accessible plot tokens to reach the final place). There are a few more you can receive after completing the mini game, but honestly they're beautiful skippable. The controls were clearly created for keyboard or gamepad, and while the translation to touchscreen is not *too* awful, some of the jumping puzzles toward the end receive beautiful frustrating because of the imprecise directional controls. The story is intriguing but it never got resolved to my satisfaction. I think it's best to just have fun the weirdness and not worry about deeper meaning.

James Kittredge: This mini game has everything I loved about 16 bit RPGs as a child, plus a attractive, haunting soundtrack and a good, dark sense of humor. It runs flawlessly on a Nexus 5 with my Moga Power Pro. I want more developers would realize that people are more than satisfied to pay for a high-quality, thoughtfully designed mini game.

Mark Lasmanis: Love the play mechanics, chiptuneish melody and 16bit look. It has interesting light quirky story. The difficulty was just right for me while playing on the nvidia shield. Played a bit on the nexus 7 Play control was as awesome as touch screens allows. A flaw of the tech as things do receive annoying with the lack of physical buttons. I then started over on my fresh nvidia shield. Made a primary touch profile and was in gaming bliss. Bug on the shield, need to begin close and or rotate to correct screen layout.

AnEasyBakeOven: I played it on pc couple of months ago and found out it was on android device. The controls are kinda hard to use to be "accurate", which may create future boss wars rough and frustrating. But good artwork and I love the melody. The atmosphere is good, and some of the dialog is beautiful silly. Good mini game, hold making mini games! *modernize After beating Anodyne I'm really satisfied to say I played it and I'd really really love to see other mini game by you two!

Andrew Bolton: Probably better on a computer but very fun, melody is good and lots of dozens to places, awesome amount of time spent in each place. Unclear signposting at a couple points.

Da Mi: Works well in every way(on Nexus 7). Title is worth much more than Google play price mark. A must for any old school journey junkie.

Jonathan Levin: A compelling, cerebral journey. Its Zelda with a dark tone and a good value for any mobile gamer. Once you receive over the fact its touch screen controls, you will be hooked!

Furst Lahst: Good mini game. It was fun and challenging.

Andre Craigwell: Art. Expression. Nostalgia. Good. Erm...control fix? Or is this a if its not absolutely broken like using a broom, case? I receive it. I receive the story, I think. "A man is most himself when he is not in his own skin."? Anyway, unbelievable, unbelievable gem once you understand what's going on. Wow. I would be willing to pay full price for this despite the controls really needing to be more friendly to one's fingers, then once more, the broom makes me question. Late to the party but good mini game guys! Can't wait to receive this on Steam, etc. and see more of what's next!

Daniel Lopez: I love this mini game. If you like Zelda mini games then definitely receive this!

Leebeloola L: It's so addictive! The writing is really funny and the story gets really interesting about halfway through as various tips begin making sense. I like that you don't have to slay every single baddie and in boss wars you need to figure out the pattern. The various places have a lot of atmosphere.Only downside is jumping on the diagonal is hit and miss, but with some practice and a few YouTube let's play videos its fine. I would prefer arrow keys (with diagonals) to dpad. No more crashes since android device 4.4

Kelsey Simons: Love the mini game good Zelda throwback. Hate the controls. The sideways movement always screws items up. I want there was an option for a real dpad.

Jamin Robinson: I want this was a postcard I should mail to my mates.

A Google user: There's plenty to do and discover. I'm really enjoying the mini game so far. I think it's best played in the dark with headphones/earbuds as most the environments aren't too cheery and the melody really sets the atmosphere. Can't wait to complete the mini game.
User rated this game 4/5 on 2013-11-29
Josh Barr: Fun mini game! Reminds me a lot of Earthbound and Zelda! Melody is good, but the controls can be super frustrating.
User rated this game 4/5 on 2014-08-10
Aaron Dahlin: The mini game is well created but seems to have had a awful port to the smartphone. The direction buttons struggle. This would be fine but when you have to war badguys.... It can be frustrating.
User rated this game 4/5 on 2016-08-22
CryingClown Studio: I would give this mini games 5 stars and change my comment once controller help has been added
