  Lynda Waiheke: I just LOVE this apk!!! I can be in my bunk onboard in the middle of a windy night and easily check the Nowcasting wind speeds. Its so easy to use and having the marine forecast, tides AND best if all the nowcasting all in one put is just fabulous! I tell everyone i know who uses boats or ferries to receive this extremely inexpensive and brilliant tiny apk. Well done coastguard!

  Graham Petrie: Easy, clean, does what it says on the box... Good program for keeping an eye on what the wind is doing while you're sitting in a sheltered bay having lunch. On more than one opportunity this apk has signaled a wind shift and building conditions long before they are noticed in the local conditions in a bay meaning it's time for us to head home before it gets uncomfortable. It's a good resource for yacht racing as well - signalling wind shifts before they arrive on the course and providing an advantage over less well-informed competitors.

  Graham Marsden: Nice Apk - needs more features A useful program on the boat when the land people talk through the radio forecast !@#$%^ A few recommendations ..... On the map showing the Nowcasting points - replace the place markers with wind direction arrows indicating peak and average windspeed in some fashion. Perhaps the head length in proportion to peak and the tail in proportion to average. Let the weather for a place to be added to "favorites" When you click a Nowcasting place present say the condition 3 hours ago, 6 hours ago and 9 hours ago. So far so awesome - hold the apk improving.

  Chris Lerew: Awesome details, a bit clunky. Good to receive Nowcasting online! Apk is over fat (15MB! Why?) for simply reporting textual data. Too a lot of clicks - reduce to one click on map for nowcast please. Favourites could contain tides and forecasts. Fresh feature idea : on map present metservice style wind arrows for overall picture of current wind (maybe just for chosen favourites). I do this in my head when listening to VHF Nowcasting, very useful. Display of latest winds on map would also be useful. NO replies or updates, a worry.

  M Bell: BEWARE - Tide times inaccurate Awesome apk in general but fatal flaw in tide times (for Auckland) - tide time on the Forecast page is 1 hour various to the Tidal page for Auckland - probably primary daylight saving error but needs to be fixed.

  TwoSpoons100: Installs and runs just ok on Nexus 5. Would like to see more details on the tagged places - not just wind. Adding swell height and direction would be very useful, as well as tides. Would also like to see more places added - my usual haunt is a long method from any of the marked places. A awesome begin, lets hope some updates are coming.
